St.
Bede’s Books is owned by the mother-daughter team of Beth and Alison
McNamara. They bought the store in 2002, shortly after Alison graduated
from Simon's Rock College of Bard. Alison, a musician and artist, has
an ear for interesting music and an eye for the loveliest faith-based
artwork, jewelry, and other gift items. With over 20 years of experience
in the ordained ministry, Beth brings theological expertise and practical
wisdom to her selection of books that will challenge, inform and delight
anyone seeking to love God with heart, mind, and spirit.
